I Manila i Filippinerne ligger børnehjemmet Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas, Inc.- Settlement House. Børnehjemmet blev grundlagt i 1913 og har i de første mange år fungeret som hjem og fristed for enker og forældreløse børn.
